The sun has not failed to deliver in October 2015
When the activity is as good as it has been lately there is no need to go far away to find beautiful displays on the night sky.
The photo above is taken in a cemetery in Reykjavik, it is open to the public but I urge anyone who goes there with a camera to be respectful of their surroundings.
Northern lights seen at the pond in central Reykjavik, Iceland.
In the photo is a statue in honor of Tómas Guðmundsson, a poet from the 19th century.
Just outside Reykjavik city in Hvalfjörður, the clouds in the distance are orange from the lights in the city.
The above photos are just a few examples from the awesome activity we have experienced so far this season and by the looks of it much more is to come.
I will finish this blog with a 2 minute example of good northern lights activity this time of year in Iceland
Stay tuned!
