Aurora season 2015/2016 has started!
This season is looking very promising, for two nights in a row we have had very good activity.
I missed out on last nights show but got lucky tonight!
This time I went just outside Reykjavik and pointed the camera towards the city.
I took 1200+ photos on a intervalometer over 1.5 hour time period which I will use to make a time-lapse video later.
I quickly edited a few to see how they come out and I am fairly pleased with them.
The top photo is the view behind the spot I was at and the yellow lights in the other three is the city lights.
As you can see the streak of aurora goes straight over the city and even with all the light pollution you can still see a lot of activity.
There was a full moon tonight and clouds covered it most of the times but it did give some light on the foreground now and then.
